Omerta

2019 · Card Game

Omerta

Players take the roles of Prohibition-era gang leaders in 1932 Chicago trying to dispose of illegal alcohol before a police raid. On each turn, players play cards to pass off bottles, request favors from suspicious contacts, and manipulate hand sizes to avoid being caught with stock when the raid hits. Rounds end when a player reaches the target number of points and calls the final signal; players compare scores and the lowest legal exposure wins. Play emphasizes timing, hand management, and tactical use of favors that can transfer risk or reward between players.
