Pick-a-Dog

2012 · Card Game

Pick-a-Dog

Players view a personal card and then race to grab matching cards from a face-up grid, stacking them in hand so each new card is either identical to or differs by only one attribute from the card on top of the stack. Each card shows five binary traits (size, brightness, number of arms, sunglasses, popcorn); in expanded play a sixth trait appears. A player may stop the round by calling “Stop!”, triggering checks for grabbing errors or missed opportunities that can invalidate or reward the stopper and determine which collected cards count. Rounds repeat until the deck is exhausted and the player with the most collected cards wins.
