Players take the roles of young apothecaries competing to reanimate pets by assembling bodies from parts, digging graves for components and stitching together creatures from mixed animal bits. Gameplay centers on drafting and placing body parts, managing resources to complete a body, and triggering a final lightning event to bring the creature to life. Rounds are quick and tactical, with a race element to be the first to complete an animated pet.
