Pictureka!
Players search a large, image-packed square board that is built from nine oversized tiles which are flipped, rotated, and moved during play so the board constantly changes. On a turn a player rolls a color die and draws a mission card matching that color; each card specifies one of three different visual-search challenges to complete on the board. Successful missions score points, and the first player to reach ten points wins. The game emphasizes quick visual scanning and pattern recognition on an evolving board featuring distinctive, hand-drawn artwork.

Tom4.6 Pictureka! Is a party game - no doubt about it - it can accommodate large groups (although going over six people starts to push it}. Anyone who has found delight hunting for Waldo or such books will find a great deal of glee from this game. I wonder just how much replay ability it has, and the auction rule still bothers me; but it's one game that I can play with my children on equal footing, as we both hunt down that elusive lawn gnome.
