2018 · Party Game
El Camarero
Players take on both diner and waiter roles, assembling a set of five course cards (starter, main, side, dessert, beverage) by choosing one of two variants on each card and displaying them briefly before hiding them. A central “kitchen” deck supplies eight visible dish cards at a time; on a turn a player either serves a visible dish to a specific table order or discards an unneeded dish. Other players may challenge a serve by ringing the bell and calling a mistake. Correct serves score 3 points, discards score 1 point, and mistakes cost 2 points. Play continues as new kitchen cards are revealed until the deck is exhausted, and the highest total wins.
