Quack in the Box

Players take the roles of incompetent doctors treating randomly drawn patients with whatever medicines and surgeries are available. A die determines how many treatments must be played, with the goal of earning money while avoiding adverse outcomes. Surviving patients pay for their treatment, while deaths increase infamy. Too much infamy ends a practice, so players must balance risky treatments against the need to build the most money by the end of the game. The game includes 140 illustrated cards and requires paper, a pencil, and a six-sided die.
