Ransom Notes

A party word game that challenges players to assemble funny, awkward sentences using a limited set of magnetic words. Each round a prompt card presents an outlandish situation and players build a response from their personal pool of word magnets. A judge reviews the submitted phrases and awards a point to the entry they prefer; play continues until a player reaches the target score or players rotate judging. The included magnets offer hundreds of word choices so combinations stay varied and often produce deliberately terrible, laugh-inducing results.

Party game that's definitely mood-based. Plays like Apples to Apples but the magnet collection and configuration can be annoying if you have big hands. You wind up making some funny and clever phrases, but there has yet to be a game that tops Apples for me. 5.5/10.
