Red Poppies Campaigns: Volume 2 – Last Laurels At Limanowa

This World War I simulation covers Austria-Hungary’s December 1914 counterattack at Limanowa, launched to relieve pressure on Krakow and the Carpathian passes. Players command opposing Austro-Hungarian and Russian companies, squadrons, and sections across a rugged foothill battlefield. Interactive turns represent ten minutes of real time, with forces maneuvering across a map scaled at 200 meters per hex. The included scenarios and campaigns use the Red Poppies Campaign system to portray the shifting attacks and defensive fighting that lasted until December 11.
