Res Arcana: Perlae Imperii
A coastal expedition and dragon-hunting subplot introduce a new resource: pearls. Pearls act as a fresh essence type that players collect and spend to power artifacts, augment abilities, and unlock alternate strategic options. Players acquire pearls through location-based actions and card effects, then use them to enhance existing engine-building choices or pursue new combos and win conditions. The expansion integrates with the base mechanics, adding variability and tactical depth without changing core play.
