Rio

A light, physical push-your-luck game for 2–6 players that uses a small cylindrical box with six numbered holes, 40 pegs divided evenly among players, and a single die. On a turn a player rolls the die and places one of their pegs into the matching numbered hole; holes 1–5 hold pegs upright while the 6 hole drops a peg through the lid and removes it from play. The active player may continue rolling and placing pegs until a roll lands on a hole already occupied, at which point the occupying peg is taken back into the player’s hand and the turn ends. Play passes clockwise; the first player to get rid of all pegs wins.
