SAGA Rulebook (2nd Edition)

A skirmish wargame set in the heroic ages, spanning historical, mythological and fictional settings. Players each command a warband of roughly thirty figures led by a heroic Warlord and resolve combat using faction-specific Battle Boards and SAGA dice that grant special abilities and define identity. The rulebook presents the core, streamlined rules for activation, melee, morale and narrative effects, with examples and guidance for creating campaigns and epic deeds. It provides a universal framework that applies across the game’s various universes; battleboards and faction supplements are sold separately.
