Saratoga 1777
A campaign game about the 1777 Saratoga campaign of the American Revolution, in which British and American forces contest the wilderness around Lake Champlain and Lake George. One player commands the British army, seeking to end the rebellion, while the other leads Continental troops and militia in defense of the region. Players maneuver forces, resolve battles, and make campaign decisions across a mounted map using wooden blocks, labels, a battle board, and dice. Games take one to two hours and are suited for ages 13 and up.
