Second World War at Sea: North Cape

Convoy battles in the Norwegian and Barents Seas during World War II. Allied players escort vital merchant shipping from Iceland toward the Soviet Arctic while German aircraft, submarines, and surface ships attempt to intercept them. The game includes operations such as PQ12 and PQ17, carrier raids, and destroyer actions along the Arctic coast. Operational scenarios use a large map spanning the region from Iceland to Novaya Zemlya. When forces meet, play shifts to a tactical map for ship combat with guns and torpedoes. Forty-two scenarios feature variable aircraft deployments, dangerous weather, limited escort forces, and German warships including Tirpitz and Scharnhorst against Allied battleships, carriers, cruisers, and destroyers.
