The Guadalcanal naval campaign returns to Second World War at Sea, covering the Solomon Islands campaign of 1942 and 1943. Players command U.S., Japanese, and Australian ships and aircraft across carrier battles, night actions in Ironbottom Sound, and engagements at Vella Gulf, Empress Augusta Bay, and Kolombangara. More than 60 scenarios follow the campaign in a connected story arc, using a map of the Solomon Islands and surrounding seas, along with a special tactical map of Ironbottom Sound.
