Steel Wolves: Germany's Submarine Campaign Against British & Allied Shipping – Vol 1 1939-43

A solitaire simulation of the German U-boat campaign against British and Allied shipping from 1939 to early 1943. The player acts as BdU, deploying individual submarines across historical operational areas in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, South Atlantic, and western Indian Ocean to locate and sink merchant convoys while managing losses. Scenarios range from single-patrol actions to short campaigns and a full 1939–1943 campaign. Rules cover historical events and systems such as Norway and Torch, signals intelligence (B-Dienst and ULTRA), torpedo development, wolfpack tactics, command resource allocation, and differing U-boat classes. Each submarine in service during the period (and some hypothetical classes) is represented by its own counter.
