SUPERHOT: The Card Game

Players face waves of incoming threats while time advances only as actions are taken. On each turn, players play ability and item cards to eliminate or neutralize enemies and interact with scenery and objects, then resolve how many obstacles advance toward them. Defeated threats are added to a player’s hand or deck to unlock new abilities, while used cards enter the obstacle line that pushes time forward, forcing trade-offs between using powerful plays and buying more time. The micro deck-building system creates evolving personal decks and differing interaction possibilities based on enemy, scenery, and object card types. Includes solo, two-player cooperative, competitive head-to-head (one player as the system), and a two-versus-one mode.

I've tried solo game and it's pretty cool! Don't know if it would work with more players, think not as well. It's kind of fiddly at the beginning but when you catch it it's a great and hard puzzle game, also quite original. And I've never played the videogame.
