The first scenario models a later historical phase after the Pyramid of the Sun is complete and alters objectives and incentives, prompting players to adopt different approaches than in the base game. The second scenario elevates mask collection from a secondary tactic to a primary scoring route, enabling much higher scores for players who optimize around it.
