The Pope of Avignon (fan expansion for Carcassonne)
A new city tile is shuffled into the regular tile supply. When it is placed, the player who lays it deploys the Pope onto its city segment, which may be connected to another city containing a follower. When a city containing the Pope is completed, each tile in that city scores one additional point. Adding a Cathar or siege tile to the city allows the Pope to be redeployed to any incomplete city, where the bonus can be scored later.
