Thread Count
Players extend a thread of wool across a carpet by rolling a six-sided die and drawing that many straight-line segments on their sheet; a single bend is allowed per turn. Objects on the carpet—socks, paper airplanes and mice—are collected when the thread passes over them, while porcelain cups subtracted from the score if tipped. The game is simultaneous roll-and-write for two or more players with a sudden-death end triggered after the first player completes a defined set of items, then a short timer runs. Points come from collected items, item sets and finishing the thread at the cat’s paw; the highest total wins.
