Throw Throw Burrito

2019 · Card Game

Throw Throw Burrito

A hybrid of a set-collection card game and physical dodgeball. Players draw and play cards to form matching sets worth points while two soft foam burritos sit on the table as throwable targets. When certain cards trigger a skirmish, players pick up the foam burritos and throw them at opponents to steal points or impose penalties. Battles range from one-on-one duels to full-table melees, with simple ritualized actions for duels (back-to-back walk-and-fire) and open throwing for larger fights. Rounds repeat until the deck is exhausted or a score target is reached, and the player with the most points wins.

Pretty lame game. The interaction is not that fun except for the fun of throwing the burritos. Never makes people play again... Even on party time

It's way more fun to watch than play. Especially the burrito duels can make for a very fun time. :-) 5.9/10.
