Timeline: American History

Players hold hands of event cards and take turns adding them to a shared, chronological timeline by placing each card where it fits relative to the cards already laid out. Cards show U.S. historical events and dates; players must decide whether an event occurred earlier or later than those on the table and reveal the card to check. Correct placements remain in the timeline; incorrect ones impose penalties and return the card to the player. The game mixes well-known milestones with lesser-known events, rewarding relative date knowledge and prompting discussion as the timeline grows more crowded and placements become harder.
