This expansion adds four advanced ship types, a pool of specialist pilots with unique abilities, and a new exploration mechanic. Players hire pilots by spending unused dice of matching ship types; pilots can be cheaper for ships they are trained for, and each pilot provides a distinct special power and victory points. Hired pilots are drawn from a shuffled deck and placed like planets. A press‑your‑luck deep‑space exploration option lets players risk encounters that yield dwarf planets, rare materials, or cosmic hazards; exploration grants collectible badges that score bonus victory points at game end. The set also includes extra planets, new secret missions, and a small drones mini‑expansion.
