Tokaido: Matsuri
Adds traditional Japanese festivals and sixteen new travelers to the base game. Festival cards and tokens trigger when travelers reach intermediate inns, altering how each section of the road is played and introducing unique events during the journey. The expansion provides additional cards that modify actions and scoring without overhauling core rules, increasing strategic options and variety in otherwise familiar play.
