2024 · Word Game
Typeset
Players act as old-fashioned typesetters who build words letter-by-letter on individual player cards. A random consonant is revealed each turn for all players to place in the leftmost empty space of a chosen line, while a personal bank of vowels can be spent before or after placement to complete words. Letters themselves have no point value; scoring depends on word length and periodic scoring rounds every five letters where players may bank points or risk continuing. Special actions and ability cards grant bonus wild letters and rule twists that help complete difficult words. The game supports solo and multiplayer play, emphasizes planning and timing, and features compact components for travel.
