U.S. Telegraph

U.S. Telegraph

Players develop their own 19th-century American city to take part in building the transcontinental telegraph. Each round, players bid for and acquire plots of land, then place building tiles and workers to improve those plots and lower their costs. Economic management and spatial placement drive decisions as players balance acquiring cheap plots, upgrading property, and positioning to score points. The game resolves through a sequence of auctions and tile placement, with final scoring based on developed plots and achieved objectives.

Nice thinky route building game. The game really shines with just 2 players, although I would also happily play with 3.
