504
Players visit a series of alternate Earths, each governed by a distinct set of rules, by assembling three modules from a pool of nine. Each module represents a core mechanism—examples include pick-up-and-deliver, racing, military conflict, exploration, network/road building, majority scoring, production, shares, and privilege systems—and the order of the three chosen modules defines the game played. Games run 30–120 minutes and use the same components rearranged to create differing objectives and interactions; players manage actions, movement, resources, and scoring according to the combined module rules to pursue the highest civilization score across that World.

5.9/10
from 10 Ludoya reviews
Garfield1.0 Horrible rules, no desire to ever play it!
Taha Afyouni7.2 Given the lukewarm reviews, I wasn't expecting much of 504. However, I have found exploring the different combinations of mechanisms to be fun. I would rate the individual games I've played 6-7/10, but the excitement of exploring the system bumps it up to an 8 for me. This is definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy looking at individual game mechanisms, this might be worth a try if you (especially if you find it on sale).
Pahn1.6 I only played it once, but it was apparent it was just way more Euro than I am willing to play. Downtime was horrendous, too. I'd like to see this concept redone with fewer possibilities that are more fleshed out.
