Wallace's War

Set during the Scottish Wars of Independence, this game recreates William Wallace’s major battles against the English at Stirling Bridge and Falkirk. Scenarios cover the Scottish victory at Stirling Bridge in 1297 and the English victory at Falkirk in 1298. Players command medieval armies while managing formations, battlefield control, and period weapons, including the English longbow. The system reflects the difficulties faced by commanders in communicating orders and adapting an initial plan once the battle is underway.
