An Ambassador's Tales

A five-part campaign of interconnected adventures set in 17th-century European courts and cities. Player-characters serve as escorts and agents for a Cardinal’s ambassador, facing duties that range from protecting a high-profile diplomat at the imperial court to recovering stolen documents and carrying secret messages. Encounters emphasize intrigue, stealth, social maneuvering and occasional combat as characters navigate courtly protocol, espionage networks, prison breaks and thefts during events such as the Venetian Carnival. The scenarios link into a larger narrative and require a compatible swashbuckling RPG system to run.
