Barbarossa: Army Group Center, 1941

Simulation of the June–July 1941 drive of a German army group into the Soviet Union, covering the opening weeks of the eastern campaign around Minsk and Smolensk. Players command large formations at division/regiment scale and conduct operational maneuver, breakthroughs, encirclements, and combined-arms combat using a two-day turn and 5-mile hex map. The system uses an asymmetrical sequence of play to model powerful Axis armored spearheads and constrained Soviet command and control, including special rules for non-operational Soviet headquarters. Play options range from short scenarios to a full campaign, with detailed order of battle, integrated air and weather rules, and extensive unit types (artillery, engineers, armored trains, etc.). Solo and multiplayer rules are included.
