Barony

Players are rival feudal lords expanding dominion across a modular hex-tile map made from three-hex landscape tiles. Each player begins with three cities and a knight in each, then takes one of six actions on their turn: recruit knights, move knights, construct villages or strongholds by removing knights, found new cities for victory points, send out expeditions to place additional knights at the board edge, or spend resources to advance in noble rank. Conflict occurs through knight movement and replacement of opponent tokens, while construction yields resources tied to underlying terrain. The game ends after a player reaches the highest title; final scoring counts cities, remaining resources, and noble rank to determine the winner.
