Battle for Germany

Players reenact the final months of World War II in Germany, beginning in December 1944 and advancing toward the capture of Berlin. Units represent corps and larger formations for Germans and the Allies, and each unit has attack, defense and movement values used with an odds-based combat results table and die rolls to resolve battles. The standard two-player setup has each participant control one Allied force and one German front, forcing simultaneous offense and defense across a divided map where a central no-crossing line makes Berlin the principal objective. Variants support three- and four-player games and an alternate Western-vs-Soviet scenario; replacements are slow and eliminated units return as weaker formations.
