Betrayal at Baldur's Gate

Players explore a dark version of a fantasy city, building the map tile by tile as they venture into alleys, buildings, and underground catacombs. Characters cooperate to encounter monsters, gather items, and resolve events, but one or more players can become traitors when a scenario triggers, shifting the game into a one‑versus‑many conflict with secret objectives. Play proceeds through a variety of scenario modules that alter goals, setup, and victory conditions, producing a different narrative challenge each session.
