Clash of Monarchs: The Seven Years War in Europe 1756-1763

A card-driven wargame recreating the Seven Years War in Europe, 1756–1763. Two to four players command the major powers and their allies, using hand-played operations cards and point-to-point movement to maneuver armies, conduct battles, and execute political and diplomatic events. Cards represent historical plans, treaties, ministerial initiatives, financial loans, court intrigues, and other military-political actions; split decks separate Early War and Wider War phases. The game integrates a Colonial Conflict subgame, explicit light-unit operations, and a yearly Fortunes of War chit pull that introduces random events such as weather, attrition, leadership deaths, and political influence.
