Cthulhu Wars: Ancients

A human-oriented faction that lacks a Great Old One and must rely on diplomacy and negotiation with other players. The faction moves across the map to construct Cathedrals on specific symbol-marked areas (plus one Cathedral in an unmarked area), often leveraging shared control with other factions. Each creature type has a unique spellbook that reduces its cost but also imposes a drawback; collecting all six spellbooks is a victory condition. The faction’s Dematerialization ability lets players, during each Doom phase, pick an area with units and move any or all of those units to one other chosen area anywhere on the map, enabling strategic redeployments for attacks and Cathedral construction.
