Players lead rival cowboy gangs in a tactical, Wild West contest to control buildings in a frontier town. Each turn, players place three classes of cowboys—greenhorns, gunslingers, and trail bosses—onto building tiles to annex them and trigger immediate or ongoing building abilities. Opponents can challenge control by initiating shootouts, resolving combat to remove enemy cowboys while accruing Wanted Poster tokens for aggressive actions. The town evolves as players annex Town Hall and add new buildings; the game ends when the railroad completes, the Crime Pool empties of Wanted Posters, or a player loses all cowboys. The player with the most cash at game end wins.
