Dogs in the Vineyard

A role-playing game set in a fictionalized pre-statehood Utah, where players portray God's Watchdogs traveling between isolated towns. They deliver messages, investigate disputes, advise local stewards, and enforce the doctrines of the True Faith of the King of Life. Their authority within the Faith is broad, but their decisions can bring them into conflict with town residents, religious leaders, and the territorial government. Scenarios focus on escalating community problems and the judgments the players make to resolve them.
