Federation Commander: Academy

A compact, entry-level tactical starship combat game set in the Federation Commander universe. Players command small squadrons represented by ship cards and counters on a paper hex map, resolving movement and combat through a complete rulebook and reference card. Gameplay uses turn-based plotting and simultaneous movement with dice and markers to determine attacks, damage, and system effects. The boxed set includes four ship cards and all counters needed for basic scenarios; players supply dice and markers. Optional expansions add additional ships, scenarios, and rules for play with the full line.
