GURPS Screampunk
A sourcebook for adding Victorian steampunk to gothic horror roleplaying campaigns. It explores an Age of Revolution, Invention, and Steam, where scientific progress, industrial power, and strange technologies threaten society, nature, and the human soul. The book covers gothic horror themes, locations, plots, and atmosphere; weird technology as a corrupting influence; Victorian scientific institutions and the mobs that opposed them; and character archetypes suited to the setting. It also provides adventure seeds, plot hooks, and guidance for running scenarios involving superstition, ancient nightmares, and the dangers of unchecked progress.
