A wealthy merchant hires the party to protect a friend, drawing them into a conflict involving redemption, vengeance, and the cost of balancing past wrongs. The adventure is designed for four to sixteen characters, with recommended average party levels ranging from 5 to 15. Dark-kin characters are not required, but the scenario provides an opportunity for them to take a central role.
