Kingsburg: The Demanding Capital

Players act as provincial governors who must balance building their fiefs and sending regular tributes to the capital. Each round, players allocate workers and resources to develop buildings, recruit advisors, and decide whether to contribute growth counters toward the King's demands. Contributions to the capital trigger city expansion benefits, while failure to pay can lead to negative consequences such as reduced royal favor or increased military risk. The scenario uses simple growth counters (coins, cubes, etc.) to track payments and city development, adding a layer of resource management and risk-reward decision making to the base game.
