Last Stand: The Battle for Moscow 1941-42

Simulation of the 1941–42 German offensive and subsequent Soviet response around Moscow during the coming of winter. Players command formation-level units across a 17.2 km/hex map, move and supply divisions and corps, conduct mechanized overruns and multi-step combats, and manage air points and reinforcements over ten-day turns from October 1941 to January 1942. Hidden Soviet unit strengths, fluctuating Soviet morale, variable German supply consumption, and heavy weather effects influence operations. Victory conditions are initially unknown and can shift as the Germans approach Moscow. Three scenarios offer shorter counteroffensive, pure-attack, or full campaign play.
