Combat uses simple rolls alongside familiar concepts such as Combat Actions and Strike Rank. Special Combat Manoeuvres provide tactical options and varied effects without relying on a resolution matrix. The rules are reorganized for easier reference and remain compatible with material from the RuneQuest II line.
