Mare Nostrum: Empires – Mythical Beasts Expansion Tiles

This expansion adds mythical creatures to the empire-building game and is fully compatible with the base game. The Kraken creates floating Sea Fortresses to help defend triremes. The Sphinx lets players choose Resources after seeing opponents’ offers during the Trade round. The Hydra attacks both friendly and opposing units in battle, while the Manticore reduces an opponent’s Legions and strengthens its owner’s military. The Mermaid allows triremes to move one additional Sea Area per turn.
