Yes — by using the Alternative Turn Option you may ignore the card’s color and symbol and move your Ship forward by the Ship’s Wheel number instead of placing a diamond; you may not place a diamond when you do this (see page 11).

No — if you use a card only for its Ship’s Wheel movement, that card is out of the game and the corresponding board space may no longer be occupied by a diamond (see page 11).

Take one of the face-up cards next to the game board and play it immediately as if it were from your hand (place a diamond or move on the Sea Track, score and possibly trigger bonuses), then discard it; you may chain extra-card actions, and if the face-up display is empty when you would take an extra card you receive 5 points instead (see pages 6 and 11).

After the normal draft/passing sequence, when each player has one card left you do not pass it but place that last card into the face-up display; this ends the round and the Starting Player Card is passed to the next player (see page 5).

The player who placed their last personal diamond finishes their turn and may use the three reserve diamonds if they have extra-card actions; after that the other players who have not yet played their selected card this round take their turns, and then the game ends and final scoring is performed (see page 12).
