Players build and expand a research station on the sea floor, placing modules on a depth-graded grid and occupying them with scientists. Stations provide different benefits that scale with the number of same-type modules in use, and occupying another player’s station requires payment. Each round players recruit and deploy scientists, manage costs, and launch up to three submarines to explore beyond the base. Submarines seek sea discoveries, sunken treasures, raw materials and the remains of Atlantis; station layout and scientist deployment influence exploration success. Game end triggers when key Atlantis tiles or other objectives are recovered or no further expansion and discoveries occur. Scoring combines recovered Atlantis chips, sea discoveries (with bonus for player-specific goals), station multipliers and leftover money.
