Next Station: London

Players redesign sections of a city's underground network, placing track tiles to extend and connect four tube lines. Each turn reveals a new station card, draws a track section, and players place that section to optimise routes and reach landmarks while respecting city specifications. The game emphasizes routing across the river, using tunnels under the Thames, and managing four parallel lines to serve as many sights as possible within the given constraints.

How exactly do I calculate my line's total points at the end?

Multiply the number of different districts your line crosses by the number of stations in the largest group within a single district, then add points for Thames crossings and any points from tourist sites, Shared Objectives, and Pencil Powers. (page 1)

How do I count districts — and is there a maximum number I can count?

Count how many different districts your line passes through; London is split into 13 districts and if your line passes through 13 or more you write 13. (page 1)

How many points do Thames crossings give — is it per crossing or per section?

Each section of your line that passes under the Thames scores 2 points (i.e., count each separate Thames-underpass section). (page 1)

How do tourist-site stops score and is there a limit to those points?

At the end of each round count tourist sites on your line and cross off that many circles on your tourist-site tracker, but you may cross off at most 10 circles during the whole game (ignore any beyond the maximum). (page 1)

When do Shared Objectives score and can I score the same objective multiple times?

The two Shared Objective cards are visible for the whole game and if you meet a card’s condition at the end of a round you score its points; each Shared Objective can be scored only once per player. (page 1)

When is a Pencil Power active and what if I don't use it that round?

At the start of each round reveal one Pencil Power card and it is active for that round for all players; if you don't use the Pencil Power during that round it has no effect and is discarded. (page 1)
