Nocturne

A setting that can be added to modern or other roleplaying campaigns, built around three connected worlds: Materia, the real world; Apocrypha, the realm beyond life; and Nocturne, the world between them. Nocturne is reached through the unconscious and follows its own rules, laws, heroes, and villains, with appearances that may be deceptive. An approaching Awakening will merge the three worlds, dividing those who seek to bring it about from those who fear its consequences. Gods send agents and avatars from Apocrypha to pursue their plans within Nocturne.
