Pampas Railroads

Pampas Railroads is a board game for 3–6 players. It plays in 120 minutes and is meant for ages 12 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4.

Players compete for control of six Argentine railroads by buying and selling limited shares and building infrastructure over nine rounds. Each round uses a passed card deck to dictate actions—offering stock, developing settlements, or constructing track—until only one action type remains, then dividends are paid according to railroad value and share distribution. Shares are scarce (five per railroad) and purchases put cash into the railroad treasuries, which must fund all track construction drawn along preset routes with plastic crayons. Players develop settlements with their own money to boost railroad income, and a final payoff based on value, income, and shares sold determines who has the most money.
