Set in plague‑ravaged 14th‑century Europe, players take on roles in a fragmented economy where craftsmen produce goods, traders sell for profit, and criminals exploit chaos. New character classes introduce merchants, swindlers, thieves, raiders and grave robbers, each with distinct abilities. Gameplay adds twelve class cards that let players collect goods and spend money to trigger special actions, altering market opportunities and interactions. Players draft and play these classes to manage resources, influence trading, and gain advantages through class powers while coping with the ongoing plague dynamics.
