Players explore a war-ravaged alien world where industrial warfare and radiation have scarred the landscape. The set provides 18 map tiles depicting ruined cities, radioactive spaces, and reversible Mine rooms, plus cards for encounters, artifacts, threats, and six specific missions. Combat encounters pit heroes against new enemy types—legionnaire infantry, armored grenadiers, radiation-mutated soldiers, and lieutenants—while environmental hazards such as land mines, toxic clouds, and acid rain affect movement and damage. Six plastic cover terrain pieces (barrels and tank traps) support the cover rules and alter line-of-sight. Play focuses on tactical movement, hazard management, and looting advanced alien weapons and gear while completing mission objectives under persistent threat.
